Biopsy Aftercare

- It is normal to have some oozing or blood-tinted saliva overnight for the next day.
- If needed, place gauze in the area for bleeding/slight oozing.
- Avoid brushing, rinsing, and spitting the day of your procedure.
- Avoid acidic and spicy foods for 3–4 days.
- Avoid chewing around the site.
- Avoid smoking.
