Dr. Tyler Boynton received his dental degree from the University of Connecticut and subsequently completed a one-year residency at the VA hospital in Palo Alto. He then returned to the University of Connecticut where he completed a four-year hospital based residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.This residency trained Dr. Boynton to perform the full scope of oral surgery where he developed a particular interest in the administration of anesthesia, dental implants, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, full-arch fixed reconstruction/”teeth-in-a-day” and treatment of wisdom teeth.
Dr. Boynton is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Boynton aims to provide compassionate care with his knowledge of the latest techniques in surgery, anesthesia and pain management. He prides himself on being an approachable, friendly and personable oral surgeon. He lives in Sonoma with his wife, Jeanne-Louise, and enjoys skiing and traveling.
